Kali ini penulis akan membagikan referensi ketentuan pembuatan Motivation Letter yang biasanya digunakan untuk mengikuti program kuliah di luar negeri (jenis program bebas, dapat berwujud student exchange, joint degree, ataupun studi lanjut S2) beserta contohnya. Yuk simak selengkapnya!
Ketentuan
Berikut adalah beberapa ketentuan yang diberikan saat penulis akan membuat Motivation Letter tersebut, diantaranya sebagai berikut:
- Panjang motivation letter maksimal 1 halaman A4.
- Tuliskan identitas nama Anda pada motivation letter tersebut.
- Tulis dengan gaya bahasa Anda sendiri, copy paste dari internet dan dari pekerjaan orang lain termasuk bentuk plagiasi, dan tidak akan diberi nilai.
- Upload file dalam bentuk pdf.
- Jenis program, nama universitas, dan nama negara disesuaikan dengan program yang dituju.

Dear Madam/Sir,
My name is Niky Ayu Lestari, I come from Indonesia Easternmost region named Papua, which is still lacking in technology and for some areas, you will be difficult to find computers in schools, children with gadgets, or internet events. There are many children who are unfamiliar with technology, but there are more children who want to build their country with technology.
I decided to leave my parents, my family, and my friends, to fly for 9 hours on the air to Yogyakarta, where I study now. In this year as a student of Informatics Engineering at Universitas Islam Indonesia, I keep holding my dream for hard studying then comeback to build my country. I showed my commitment in the academic field by gaining a GPA of 3.86 from the 4 semesters I have passed. I am actively participating in training, seminars, workshops and winning several competitions that can improve my technical skills such as programming, system analysis, design system, problem solving etc. I also joined as a peer tutor, computer lab assistant, and tutor for my junior. This participation is a place to share the knowledge and experience that I have gained.
I have won various technologies programs that gave many people that made my knowledge and dreams become stronger, until I found the One Semester Scholarship Program for the students from ASEAN Countries by Chulalongkorn University Thailand announcement. I realize that Mr. President of Chulalongkorn University, Prof. Bundhit Eua-arporn have the same goals with me, that produces able graduates who become quality citizens for society. That's why I officially hope to exploring the knowledge directly from the oldest and best engineering school in Thailand which for years has been classified as the best engineering school in Thailand and listed as one of the best engineering schools in Asia, and I hope that Chulalongkorn University will take part to help us achieve our dreams, for a better world and society in the future.
